The objective of Octo's Eco Adventure is to gain the highest score possible by shooting water from the protagonist, Octo's mouth to stop trash polluting the ocean (scoring points in the process).
Controls[]
Using the mouse, swipe across the screen to aim at the falling landfill, and left click to shoot using the boost you get after collecting a star.
For every piece of trash that pollutes the ocean, the colour of the ocean changes to be darker and murkier. This will occur four times before the game ends.

The Star is the only aid that gives the player an advantage whilst playing. After shooting the Star, the water pellets will acquire a temporary speed boost. |
Obstacles[]
Upon striking any falling obstacle, every one that is struck will reward the player with ten points.

Trash bags are the first type of obstacle that the player will encounter, and is the slowest to fall. They fall directly downwards and shake slightly. |

Tyres are the second type of obstacle that the player will encounter. Tyres fall slightly faster than the trash bags do. Tyres fall directly downwards and shake slightly more than the trash bag. |
 |
Trashcans are the third type of obstacle that the player will encounter. Trashcans fall slightly faster than the trashbag and the tyre. Alike the trash bags and tyres, trashcans fall directly downwards and shake slighly more than the tyre. |

Boots are the fourth type of obstacle that the player will encounter. Boots fall faster than all the preceding obstacles. Similarly to all preceding obstacles, the boot falls faster than those it preceeds. Boots fall directly downwards and shake more than the tyres do. |

Toxic Waste is the fifth type of obstacle that the player will encounter. Toxic waste falls at around the same speed as the boot does. Unalike all the obstacles that preceed toxic waste, it does not wobble an falls directly downwards. |

Wobble-Ade bottles are the sixth type of obstacle that the player will encounter. Wobble-ade bottles fall at a much faster speed than the preceding obstacles. Unalike all the obtacles that preeceed Wobble-Ade bottles, as it falls, it spins 360°. |

Spraycans are the seventh type of obstacle that the player will encounter. Spraycan bottles fall at a faster speed than all preceding obstacles. Alike the Wobble-Ade bottles, Spraycans spin 360° as they fall. |

Drinks cans are the eighth and final type of obstacle that the player will encounter. Drinks cans bottles fall at a faster speed than all other obstacles thus being the fastest object to fall. Alike both the Wobble-Ade bottles and the Spraycans, Drinks spin 360° as they fall. |
