The MonStar Rating is a feature on Moshi Monsters that indicates the popularity level of a monster.
The MonStar rating appears to be determined by many different variants, including how many visits the Monster, how many friends they have or how many gifts and pinboard messages they have.
If a monster is on Monstar A, they are very popular, but if they're on Z, they have just joined - and not so popular.

The icon for the list is a star, every one has a special colour and has a letter of the alphabet on which shows the popularity of the Monster with the approximate number of visits needed to achieve that rank.

- Everyone hits at the same number, it is when you notice that determines when you hit the list. (e.g. You went off at night - and you leveled up overnight when you gained e.g. 20 views)
